Our Mission
Mama Zoey and Puppies Rescue strives to give a voice to all of the discarded dogs that would otherwise be euthanized. We strive to lend a hand and give our heart in everything that we do. We promise to leave no dog behind and do our best to get them into a foster program, where we will find them a forever home. We are a foster-based rescue and without the help of donations, fosters, volunteers, and amazing crew members, none of this would be possible. We want to help as many dogs as we possibly can through all walks of life. We will never turn down any breed or age.
Our Story
Mama Zoey was found as a stray in Will County, IL. She was far along in her pregnancy, urgently needing rescue or she would be put to sleep. Dan heard of Mama Zoey needing to be saved and without hesitation, pulled her on June 27th, within hours of her being put to sleep. One week later, on July 4th, Mama Zoey went into labor and gave birth to 11 beautiful and healthy puppies!!!
This rescue is an avenue for those that care and love all dogs, no matter where in their life they are. We rescue with Mama Zoey and her puppies in mind, celebrating these 12 lives saved by Dan and his commitment to help ANY dog in need, no matter if they are pregnant, injured, homeless, abused or neglected.
We also rescue in honor of Dan’s treasured dog Rocco who was diagnosed with cancer and lost his battle.
